THE NEW ZEALAND BAND
Sir-I feel I must congratulate Mr. Owen Jensen on the way he spoke about our New Zéaland band in his recent Music Magazine. There seems to be a definite "looking down" » feeling about band music by thé pte who profess to be music-lovéers! I hope Mr. Jensen’s broadcast will make some of these people think about the subject, and realise that’the bands*do their best, and that the top men in brags playing are né doubt equal to théir counter. parts in other musical branches.
