Sir-I feel I must bring to your notice an error made by the New Zealand Press and. the NZBS: that of calling a lady commentator a "compére." The feminine of "compére" is "commére," a term always used by the British Press and the BBC when referring to a lady commentator. As a commére, I find it irritating to say the least, to be given a masculine reference. As there are more and more women doing commentating, I fee] this error ehould he correrted
