Dear Aunt Daisy, IT heard you talking about the spoilt silk frock caused by pressing the collar on the right side. If your correspondent wrings out a cloth in vinegar and very lightly sponges it (taking care not to make her frock wet), and then hangs it out inthe air for a while, the vinegar smell will completely disappear and the marks also, This is quite successful on dark colours and also for serges and woollen garments.
