Animal Stories Wanted
AVE you ever heard the story about the friendship between the collie and the rabbit? What about the placer sheep, and those kea stories? Station 3YA, in their lunch hour Country Session next Monday, April 20 (at 12.20 p.m.) will be broadcasting an appeal to listeners for animal stories that can be broadcast. For each one that they accept they will pay half a guinea, and the length of the story has to be only 300 to 400 words, Country people hear and see many odd things in their daily contacts with animals around the farm. and even the tricks that stock get up to in trying to "open gates or get at water can make interesting listening. The only qualification required of stories submitted is that they should be true ones. Letters should be addressed to "Country Session," c/o Station 3YA, Christchurch,
