Listeners will hear a selection of his newer recordings, : Tonight at 6.45, 2ZA will feature recorded songs by the George Mitchell Glee Club. The organiser of this group, George Mitchell, is a choral enthusiast with many other irons in the fire. Besides the Glee Club, he also controls "The Mitchell Men" "The Mitchell Maids," "The Kerbside Choristers," and a swing choir; these are well known in Britain. Scottish born, and with a voice that brought her to the public notice at the age of six, Isobel Baillie at the age of 13 was studying with the best music teachers in Manchester.
