7INDERGARTEN OF THE AIR is one of the NZBS’s happier gifts to the harassed housewife, and I am. sure that all concerned in its production _ would be deeply gratified if they eould et a few of their satisfied clients a Monday morning. The give-and-between ‘studio and audience is well maintained, so much so that I felt a certain pang at hearing my toddlers saying "Yes, yes," so eagerly to the lady in the box, using their next breath to say "No, no," menacingly to me. I lived the songs, simple enough for me to learn in a single session, and was impressed by the homely nature | ow story about the little girl who with her mother to buy mate i: a. new frock. The only feature I feel at all dubious about is the incorporation in the session of suggestions for post-ses-sional play. "Ask your mother," says that nice kind announcer, "if you too can play shops. All you will need is-."
