PA HE ‘trend of current events should ensure greatly heightened interest on the part of farmers, and the general listener, in the deliberations of a panel (below) recently organised by Jack Aylesbury, of 1YA for the NZBS. Consisting of producers, exporters and research officers the panel, which assembled in Hamilton, made a comprehensive examination of the possibilities and potentialities of greatly increasing the production and export of chilled beef. Three programmes were recorded, including in the final one a careful survey of all the problems raised

and some suggested sotutions. They have already been broadcast from 1YA and 1XH and will be heard from 1¥Z at approximately 12.35 p.m. on March 28, April 2 and April 4.
