Ants Again

Dear Aunt Daisy, During the four years I was living in Auckland (Devonport), we were worried very much by ants, until I used a special D.D.T. shelf paper. After that I didn’t ‘see another ant in either cupboard or safe. I think the cost was half a crown for three large sheets, bought from the chemist. It might seem expensive, but if apiece of greaseproof paper is cut so that about an inch of the D.D.T. paper protrudes beyond the greaseproof, it will be found that the D.D.T. paper lasts for months. All you have to do is add another fresh piece of greaseproof to have clean shelves. There is no smell to contaminate food. and it is really marvellous to rid the kitchen of those pests. "Patricia."
