TRUBY KING

Sir-I should like to reply to "Honour Where Honour is Due" about the name of the Plunket Society. Perhaps it is not generally known that Sir Truby King, then Dr. Truby King, gave the name "Plunket Society" in honour of and with, the permission of Lady Plunket, wife of the then Governor-Gen-eral of New Zealand, who, like Sir Truby King, was very interested in Child welfare. I think I am correct’ in saying the younger children of her family were brought up on Sir Truby King’s methods.
