Tonight at 7.30 4ZB features "‘Tunes of Yesteryear." This programme is designed to recall some of those old favourite melodies which are seldom heard today. %* * Two English vocalists who toured our country a couple of years ago will be starred in tonight’s programme from 3ZB at 6.45. They are Webster Booth and his wife Anne Ziegler who have stepped into prominence since their appearance on the screen. * * * It was in No. 51 Frith Street, in London’s Soho, that Mozart, as a boy of 8, gavé concerts in the lodgings he shared with his father. Soho is an intriguing quarter and its name is derived from an old hunting call "So-ho." Today Soho is still a hunting ground for people out for entertainment, and it is undoubtedly London’s Latin Quarter. Tonight 2ZA presents a session at 7.30 entitled "Soho Snapshots," featuring artists who have appeared in the district’s many theatres.
