BANDS ON THE AIR

IMES for the national relay of results from Dunedin, where the New Zealand Brass Band contest will be held ~ next week, have been -announced in Wellington. All YA and YZ stations will present summaries of results up to the time of broadcast from Sunday, February 10, to Saturday, February 16, inclusive, at the following times: 7.17 am., 12.33 pm. 6.40 pm, and 10.25 p.m. The contest opens on Saturday, February 9, and results will be broadcast that day on the National link at 6.40 and 10.25 p.m. During the week of the contest a more complete coverage will be presented by 4YA which will also broadcast selections from Carisbrook Park and from the Town Hall where special concerts are to be staged.
