et ---$$-$--- What promises to be an enthralling story, the BBC feature "‘The Master of Ballantrae"’ has its first broadcast from 2ZA at 7.45 tonight. * = * At 2.0 today 4ZB presents the Gilbert and Sullivan opera "Patience." This comic opera was first performed at the opening of D’Oyly Carte’s new theatre the Savoy. Its success was tempestuous, and a few months later Arthur Sullivan was knighted by Queen Victoria. * * * Travel, they say, broadens the mind. We who have not been able to share this experience can at least defive pleasure from the relating of the journeyings of others. Far-away places with strange sounding names are no further away than your radio dial if you choose to share the adventures of a New Zealander abroad, and his recollections in "This is Holland," broadcast from, 1ZB at 7.0 every Sunday. _ d
