New hope for CANCERR sufferers ! Many are being cured ecery day Present-day treatment of cancer is by surgery and radiation (x-rays and radium) This may be known to you but what is generally noc known is the fairly high cure rate our modern treatments produce in early cases. But with delay, where the disease has spread, and glands, etc , are involved the position is very different; This is showa in the following table issued by the American Cancer Society- SITE EARLY LATE Breast 709 350 CURE Cervix (neck of 700 159 womb) RATE Mouth 650 10% Lip 90% 15% Skin 95% 40%/ In addition, the actual treatment may be easier in an early Case For example, an early cancer of the lip or skin may be cured by treatment with X-rays or radium, without ever entering hospital On the other hand, the same cancer , if allowed to grow, may require extensive surgery, wich removal of glands Do not forget that early is 4 relative termn , to which no time Cn be fixed. Cancers grow at different rates: One case may be stil early after months while another may have spread and become a late case n 2 month: So if you are worried over unexplained symptoms, don" L put off having a thorough medical examination. The chances are that those worrying symptoms denote simple and harmless con- ditions; but if you have cancer, revealing it early can save your life. faflly tiatment bue TESSENTiAL !
