Harper Goodspeed, his wife, and a team of botanists from Berkeley University, California, into the nooks and crannies of the Andean uplands (Plant Hunters of the Andes, Robert Hale; English price, 21/-). They travelled by boat, train, aircraft, car, on horseback and on foot, mostly in seatch of the Nicotiana species.
