2ZA broadcasts ithe final episode ¥ "Twilight Ranger’ at 6.15. * Ba * For many years a well-known Danedin pianist, Rita Holmes has been delighting listeners with her music. Tune to 4ZB every Monday at 3.30 for Rita Entertains. * = * Maurice Hawken’s "Answer, Please," is broadcast from 2ZB at 6.30. Good entertainment is assured, as rarely is a session broadcast from which one doesn’t obtain some useful information. * * * A girl who in her late teens turns down the chance to sing in the Metropolitan Opera does not always get a second chance, but Rise Stevens had faith enough in her ability to feel that opportunity for her would knock more than once. And it did, when, after years of study at the Julliard School of Music, then in Paris, and Salzburg, Rise made her debut in the title role of ‘‘Mignon.’’ Later, teo, came Hollywoed. 3ZB features this artist as "Evening Star" at 10.15 tonight.
