The Right Advice
Dear Aunt Daisy, About 15 years ago I wrote for advice about fermenting honey. My honey was in a large tin, and as quickly as I scraped off the frothy fermented top it formed again. From Aunt Daisy’s advice that it was excess moisture, I put the tin, with a light cover, in \my warm sitting room behind a large chair, In one month it was right, and I moved it into another room, but not into the open-windowed dairy where it would absorb more moisture. This process was simple and effective, and I hope that my experience may help others. You also told me of a successful method to remove cold water stains on polished table and chairs. Dab ordinary household .ammonia on the stains and next day hold a hot iron close to the stain for a minute or two. After this use an ordinary
polishing liquid.
