INNOCENTS ABROAD
RED AND MAGGIE EVERYBODY, one.of.the earliest and most popular featurés from Commercial stations in New Zealand, and last heard during the war years, will be back on the air soon. Since the programme last was broadcast, Fred and Maggie-Edward Howell and his wife Terese Desmond-have had a trip. vand their new series is based "tip. The thousands who heard them before are assured of more and even richer comedy situations when
these two hopeless muddlers encounter foreign customs and languages. Not, of course, that they wait till they are abroad to get into difficulties. There is plenty of confusion as they make a — ied --
ready for the trip. Letting the hotise and dealing with: the hundred and ane other things that Maggie manages to complicate nearly drives Fred crazy, and ie odd» ideas their neighbour, Sproggins, has about. helping them only add to Fred’s fury.. oe Fred . being. ch i with the photopretty « assistant. As for. the. packer Fred -and.
