Hit tunes from "Show Boat,’’ one of Jerome Kern’s successes, may be heard from 2ZA at 10.45 this morning. ™ % * Ace reporter Randy Stone, while on the night beat for his newspaper, discovers many human interest stories. These are all presented as complete half-hour plays. Be listening for "Night Beat," from 4ZB tonight at 7 o'clock. * te Bob Eberley, now sold artist on American recordings, was among the talent which achieved fame with Jimmy Dorsey’s pre-war orchestra. The Dorsey Band, after its success in the film "The Fleet’s In" carried its vocalists, Bob Eberley and Helen O’Connhell, to the top rank of show business. Bob Eberley is featured today from 1ZB in "Evening Star."
