Badminton Tour
A NEW ZEALAND team of ten badminton players is at present touring Australia and will play twelve matches in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia) and New South Wales. The five men and five women in the team are captained by Phil Hgwksworth, and the manager is C. J. E. Smith. A test against an Australian team will be played in Hobart, Tasmania, on September 1 and 2, for the Whyte Trophy, which has so far been won three times by Australia in the three tests played. During the tour results of the games will be broadcast by the main National Stations on the morning after each match at 6.15 a.m») and 7.18 a.m.
