Sir,-As one of the many who were unable to attend the Empire Games, may I through your journal ~. express appreciation of the broadcasts throughout this week. May I thank Messrs. McCarthy and King, and- Mr. Forbes Carlile, for their bright, interesting .commentaries: and very able descriptions. There has not been a_ dull moment during their broadcasts. I am sure many listeners will agree with me, and perhaps the commentators themselves will be glad to know that their efforts are gratefully acknowledged.
