BREAKFAST VOICES

Sir,-As a land girl, I rise each morning at 4.30 and have at least half a day’s work done by the time the breakfast voices come on_the air. Their jokes and wisecracks are yery much appreciated, for they help us on our way. Perhaps "Cut the Cackile" sleeps too long and is too tired to enjoy these cheerful voices. We Aucklanders are known as a solemn lot who never wear a smile. Why try to stop these boys from having their fun?
