History" from 3ZB at 6.30 tonight. °K Bod Bd 4 On their recent visit to Australia, the Merry Macs were acclaimed as one of the outstanding light vocal groups to j visit that country. Not only was their singing praised, but also the presenta- | tion and production of their act, which lasts approximately half an _ hour. Under the title "The Merry Macs Present" a group of their recordings will be broadcast from 1ZB at 4.15 today. x x 1 Charles Ancliffe, writer of so many popular English waltzes, was at one | time Regimental bandmaster to the renowned South Wales Borderers. During his military career he visited . many foreign countries and it was on a fe turn boat journey to Britain that he. wrote his still popular "Nights of Glad~ ness."
