The Women’s Hour talk, "The ABC of UN," today discusses the work and achievements of the "World Health Organisation." ~ * * * Memories of one of the most popular talkies screened in N.Z., the spece tacular "San Francisco," will be revived in 1ZB’s Film Featurette at 8.30 tonight, * % Larry Adler’s virtuosity on the harmonica has brought him many rewards that are not often the lot of players of this humble instrument, These include appearances at the Royal Albert Hall, London, and with the Philadelphia Opera Company. 2ZA will feature a group of his recordings at 7.30 tonight. 7 * The English male chorus known as the "Kentucky Minstrels’ were first heard in broadcasts from the BBC. No small part of their popularity is due to the arrangements written for them by Doris Arnold, a BBC employee who commenced her career in the purchasing section of that organisation. At 6.45 tonight 4ZB will broadcast a programme by this choir conducted by Leslie Woodgate.
