HE summer season is a time of worry for the Forestry Department, and every year special precautions have to be taken to minimise the danger of forest fires. "Fire Season" in Weekly Review No. 428, which will be released by the National Film Unit on November 18, shows the forests of Nelson and Blenheim and the protection afforded them by a competent fire-fighting organisation which goes into action at the first sign of danger. "Supplies by Scow," the record of a trip up Northern rivers from Whangarei to Kaitaia by a special scow which takes supplies to isolated farms, is another item and "On and Off at Meeanee" gives glimpses of a rodeo held by Young Farmers’ Club members,
