Satin Pram Cover

Deat Aunt Daisy, Some listeners might be glad to hear how I managed to gét my daughter’s white quilted satin pram covers free of brown stains caused by unbleached cotton wool padding. I tried soaking them in a chémical and water but no luck, so I washed them thu$: soak cover in soap flakes and warm water for a while, pressing cover often. Rinse. If brown shows as cover dries repeat washing process. I had to wash and dry the quilts 4 times, but now they are snowy white. I think the idea is to get the unbleached wadding free of colouring.

Grandma.
