Bx BS * Snippets from human interest stories are included in Happi Hill’s "Breakfast Club," the 8.0 a.m. session from 3ZB, Monday to Saturday of week. % a * The late Kenneth Alford will be remembered by many listeners as the conductor of the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders Band, which was one of the principal attractions of the 1925 Dunedin Exhibition. He was also a prolific composer who has written many well-known marches. At 9.30 this morning 2ZA will present a quarter hour ef Alford marches. . * * * To-day’s Women’s Hour includes several interesting featurettes, items to attract women listeners, whatever their tastes may be. Jane Finlay, who recently returned to New Zealand from an extensive tour of Europe, will be heard in talks entitled "Europe To-day" over 1ZB and 2ZB.
