"JUNE BRIDE"
To the Editor-Sir-Your film critic P.J.W. is evidently not a reader of the Ladies’ Home Journal. In his review of June Bride he is a bit hard, or wide of the mark, when he calls Hollywood thickheaded, and describes as a lapse of taste the way in which the refurbishing of the country home is made the object of so much humour. To me, at any rate, it sounds like a good satire on the feature "How America Lives," which ran in that magazine for many months (and may still do, for all I know), and I have no doubt this is what was intended, I think I shall enjoy ‘this film. ~~
