VON ZEDLITZ MEMORIAL
Sir,-May | use your columns as the best possible medium for an appeal | wish to make to all the old pupils and all the friends of the late Professor G. W. von Zedlitz? It is proposed to found at Victoria University College, the life of which Professor von Zedlitz did so much to enrich, a prize or scholarship for work in any modern language, as a memorial to him and as a means of encouraging those studies wherein his interest as a teacher at the College principally lay. His name certainly is not likely to be forgotten, but neither is such a memorial one to be despised. Many of your readers, | am sure, would like to subscribe to a fund for this purpose. Will those who wish to do so send their contributions to the undersigned, ¢/- Victoria College, P.O, Box 1580, Wellington, or to the Registrar, who will. acknowledge all subscriptions.
E. J.
BOYD-WILSON
Professor of Modern Languages.
