FIRE AT BUS DEPOT In a fire that broke out at 0 Bus Depot recently, this bus had a spectacular escape from serious damage. There is no doubt that the all-steel construction of the bus body saved it from destruction. The blazing fire completely destroyed the wooden framed body of 0 bus garaged alongside. STEEL SHOWS REMARKABLE PROTECTION This is just another example of the safe sure protection afforded by buses of all-steel construction: New Zealand Motor Bodies Limited who manufactured this particular bus body, can feel justly proud of the way it stood up to such an unusual hazard. The fire has proved the amazing Burning material falling from the heat-resisting qualities of the steel garage roof on to the canvas- used in this bus.
