SnEEEEI EERIE Under the title of "Appointment with Fate" 3ZB broadcasts a most interesting series of semi-documentary productions every Friday night at six o’clock. * * * Those clever Quiz Kids, who seem to know as many of the answers as some of their elders, will be on the air again at. seven o’clock to-night from the Commercial stations. * * % At 3.45 this afternoon 2ZB will feature a recorded recital by Gracie Fields. She will be heard in popular songs of to-day, as well as in some of her earlier successes. 2ZA’s 9.30 morning session featuring world-famous Bands, to-day turns the spotlight on His Majesty’s Royal Marines. An interesting fact about the "Jollies," as they are nicknamed, is that they were formed as far back as 1664 and were largely recruited from various London bands of that neriod.
