Maori Rugby Broadcasts
HE main National stations will broadcast at approximately 5.40 p:m, on Saturday, May 28, a commentary on the second half of the game between the Maori- Rugby team and New South Wales which is being played at Sydney on that day. The second game against New South Wales, on June 18, will be’ covered by a similar broadcast, Full commentaries on the three Test matches against Australia will be broadcast from ) the main National stations, the dates being June 4, First Test at Sydney; June 11, Second Test at Brisbane; and June 25, Third Test at Sydney. The Test commentaries will start at approximately 5.0 p.m. All other games will covered by cabled information giving ‘results and scorers, which should arrive in time to be broadcast:in the 9.0 p.m. news link jon the day of play. The dates of these matches are as follows: May 21, against Victoria at Melbourne; May 25, against A.C.T. at Canberra; June 1, against Newcastle at Newcastle; June 8, against New England at Armidale; June 13, against Queensland at Brisbane; June 22, against Central Western at Orange.
