LISTENER COVERS

Sir,-One important point of difference between the normal cover-designs of the New Zealand and English Listeners escaped mention (or reproduction) in your number of March 11. The contrast I feel most keenly is not so much between what is inside the two frames-a sympathetic studio portrait of a pianist, or a boy’s head by Picasso -as between the frames themselves. And, just as in the U.S.A. a hamburger is ordered "with" or "without" onions, so surely your two Listener exhibits should have been labelled "with" or "without" O-tol?
