She will arrive here at the beginning of March for an eight weeks' tour of the country, under contract to the NZBS, giving public and studio recitals in the main centres. Miss Ripley will be remembered by many listeners for her singing at the Centennial Music Festival in 1940, when she appeared in presentations of "Faust" with Isobel Baillie, Heddle Nash, Raymond Beatty and Oscar Natzka.
