Statement for August, 1948 Estates to the value’of £643,206 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of August, 1948. The new business for the five months ended August 31, was £3,510,003. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 172 for the month, 674 néw wills appointing the Public Trustee execulor Were prepared of behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 616 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators, The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 141,664,
