~UN and Canadian Transmissions HE two United Nations transmissions beamed to the Pacific are the afternoon rebroadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the evening transmission through the facilities of the "Voice of America" stations. Interesting talks on various aspects of Canadian life are to be heard, and both stations are being heard just now at quite good strength: CHOL (11.72 mce/s., 25.60 metres), CHLS (9.61, 31.22). The first ten minutes are devoted to answering listeners’ letters and at 9.0 p.m. the News is broadcast. At 9.15 p.m. there is the feature "Canadian Chronicle"; at 9.30 p.m. "Prairie Schooner"; and at 9.45 p.m. "Cross Section."
