ELL, I’m strongly in favour of intermarriage -inter-marriage between rgaces. I think that for one thing that helps to strengthen the stock. It’s always a bad thing to get in-breeding-that seemed very clear in our aristocracy until they started marrying chorus girls. Well, exactly the same thing applies with a country; if it breeds on itself only, it goes weak, but if it’s continually reinforced with new blood, as this country has been throughout its history, then jt remains strong.’-J.
