Estates to the value of £728,519 were | reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of tember, 1947. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trastee on March 3ist, 1947, was Be 833,004, and the new business for the ‘months ended September 30th was ‘£3, 913,403. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 155 for the month. During the month 581 new wills sppointing the blic Trustee executor were on behalf of testators and lodged for ea and 572 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testatofs. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 137,781.
