CONCERT "CROWDS"
»Sir,-Listening to the beautiful Isaac Stern concert in Wellington on’ a ‘recent evening I was surprised to héar the audience being referred to, on each occasion, as "the crowd," despite ‘the presence of their Excellencies, and probably many other distinguished persons. The word "crowd" applies to a number of people at a football or boxing match, but surely not to members ofa concert audience. I hope the slip will not be repeated. ie eee
