BBC's General Overseas Programmes \WIitTH the great need for conservation of power, listeners will have noticed the reduced number of stations carrying the General Overseas Programmes from London. GSO in the 25-metre band after 10.0 p.m. and GSF in the 19-metre band have been completely withdrawn. Both these sta:ions were heard at good strength in New Zealand. A_ slight reduction in _ signal strength may also be noticed on some of the stations.
