Aus | On Sunday, August 11, the ZB stations started broadcasts of a series of album recordings for Sunday. presentation. Artists in this programme include Ilka Chase, American novelist and actress, who reads verse by Dorothy Parker, "The albums in this series contain recordings by Vladimir Horowitz (pianist), ‘Dorothy Maynor (American soprano), and Allan Jones, who will sing eight ‘songs by Cole Porter. The programmes will be heard from all commercial stations in rotation. Ba x Ea "Early Days in New Zealand," a programme written by a New Zealander and produced by the Commercial Division of the NBS, has started at 1ZB. It opened at 2ZB on Wednesday, August 14; 3ZB, on Wednesday, August 28 and at 4ZB on Wednesday, September 11. On Wednesday, September 25, it will go to 2ZA, Palmerston North, The first 13 chapters are about Mackenzie and his famous dog. In the cast are A. S. Farguhar, Dorothy Munro, Eugene Casey, George Swan and George Cooper, all Wellington players.
