PLAY OF THE WEEK

Sir,-My husband and I were waiting eagerly for the Play of the Week from 1YA, "There is a Tide," but got quite a shock. We like realism, fantasy, humour, There is very little we don’t like, but we did not like that. Perhaps our opinion isn’t valuable: after all, we are énly farming folk who like to listen in. New Zealand’s own productions, both National and Commercial, give us better entertainment and a greater educational value than any imported record-

ings.
