Figures for the four main centres are: Auckland, 129,816 ordinary receivers, 446 dealers, 9 multiple, 1 special, 629 free, and 257 amateur; Canterbury, 71,058 receivers, 179 dealers, 22 multiple, 309 free, 144 amateur; Otago, 51,731 receivers, 154 dealers, 12 multiple, 212 free, 97 amateur; Wellington, 138,691 receivers, 461 dealers, 11 multiple, 1 special, 552 free, and 347 amateur.
