WHAT I principally lost was 89 minutes of valuable time, two shillings and threepence, and any desire to see Bud Abbott and Lou Cos-
‘tello again. To add that I also lost faith in the movie industry would not be quite fair, in view of what I have just’ said about The Suspect. Some children may enjoy this dismal hotchpotch of stale gags and threadbare slapstick, and I had indeed thought at first that our Little Man might at least be shown accompanied by ‘his Little Boy, but on second thoughts I am not prepared to risk wounding the little chap’s feelings by suggesting that Lost in a Harem is’ any better suited to his taste than my own,
