RONA RANSOM (stenographer): 1, I’d like to see people who act as if this war is won have their heads shaved like collaborators. Seems to me there is still a body of apathetic persons around. 2. I hope to see the men of New Zealand show more originality and imagination in their mode of dress. The general trend in 1945 will no doubt be towards camouflage suits in mottled tonings of jungle green and Burma red, but perhaps this temporary taste of bright plumage will do something to bring about. a permanent improvement.
