Streaky Stockings

Dear Aunt Daisy, A "Link" in our Daisy Chain complained about her stockings having dried streaky. I think she must have dried them in the sun. Stockings should be dried in the shade, inside out. Perhaps if she washes them again, and leaves them soaking in the water for a while, sufficient dye will come out into the streaky parts and make them wearable again. Also, do not leave wet stockings bunched up-shake them out at once. |
