— a PROBABLY one of the most popular quizzes on the air from 2ZB is the Give It a Name Jackpots. During, the past 12 months competitors have won £145 in prize money, and the session is considered one of the richest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Central attraction, of course, is the jackpotting of the big prize each week, and the amounts won as the big prize have been £3/10, £24, £7/10, £26 and £23. Lesser prizes have ranged from £2/10 to £6, while four prizes each night range from 10/- to £1. % * * ROMANCE OF MUSIC, an expressive musical interlude, is a 30-min-ute show, starring Donald Novis, American tenor, and Jan Rubini, violinist, and his string ensemble. Compéring the programme is Barton Brown, an authority on music, who puts the stories of the Masters of Music into words, which everyone can understand and enjoy. Romance of Music will be heard every Tuesday from 2ZB at 10.15 p.m.
