NEWS IN MAORI
WEEKLY SERVICE BY NBS To meet the needs of the large number of Maoris in the Dominion who listen to war news, the National Broadcastnig Service is now summarising the news once a week and broadcasting it in the Maori language. This broadcast, which is given on Sunday nights at 9.20, is made from 1YA, 2YA and 2YH. The broadcast lasts for 10 minutes, and reaches all Maoris living in the Dominion who have reasonably efficient receiving sets.
