THE MESSIAH

Sir,-As a regular subscriber to The Listener and a very thrilled listener-in to Handel’s masterpiece oratorio The Messjah, might I suggest that next time the oratorio is to be presented; The Listener’s announcement may be accompanied by a picture of Our Lord a little less gruesome than heretofore, e.g. Holman Hunt’s picture of Him or something to that effect, as He is no longer "The Man of Sorrows," He is now "King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Hallelujah."
