FS *% * HE press could be great and useful if it were the product of trained and independent editors, foreign editors, correspondents abroad and »home reporters, but when these* specialised «etaftsmen become the captives of rich-men-with-a-fad, rich-men-with-a-blonde, party-made peers, and "the advertisers," the result is an odious brew.-Douglas Reed in "A Prophet at Home."
