Green and Hahn photograph BOB POLLARD, the man in charge of 3ZB’s Christmas Gift session this year, has had an adventurous life. Born in Foochow, China, and educated in Australia, he was in turn, engineer, chemist, and station hand. Then he worked in films at Cinesound and Pagewood studios, then joined up with the Gladys Moncrieff musical comedy company and toured New Zealand, understudying the part of Prince Danilo in "The Merry Widow." He began his career with the CBS as an announcer at 3ZB, Christ--church, transferring to 2ZB, and finally back to 3ZB as production supervisor. He plays an important part in the Centennial Film. His gift session is heard at approximately 10.0 am. and 2.15 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays
